MANKWE NDOSI

Mankwe Ndosi is a Spirit Singer/ Composer / Culture Worker of sound and soil. Her work is aimed at supporting the interconnection and liberation of our personal, social, and terrAstral structures, practices, and mythologies. Her practice emerges from black ritual legacies of music and performance learned from and played with Douglas R. Ewart, Laurie Smith Carlos, Sharon Bridgforth, Amoke Kubat, Nicole Mitchell, Miriam Makeba, Zach Bagaason, ancestors, earth, and many peers across species, cultures, and creative genres. Mankwe’s Body mEmOri journeys use the sensations and stories in our bodies to create feeling rooms for collective vibration and personal journeying.

MOJUBA DUO (JAMAL MOORE-NIK FRANCIS)

A collaboration of International Artist-Baltimore Based Jamal Moore and D.C. finest; drummer/composer Nik Francis. Together they investigate sound using sacred geometry transcending space and time. Invoking Ancestral dialogue to bring fourth cosmic tones for planetary healing.

A newly comprise unit of world renowned Bashi Rose( Drums, Theater, Film), Emperor King Bishop ( Reeds, electronics, composer), and Elder Ra ( Electronics, Bass).Together these three work in a triad as sound scientist liken unto the ancient TamaRean order of Ptah Nun. Without  being tethered through  matter and idiosyncratic infestation of planet earth, they bring positive etheric frequency and vibrations of  the now and hereafter.
