Ex-John Dierker Quartet bassist John Hughes returns to Baltimore from Europe with a bevy of his favorite German improvisors & for a reunion with his quartet bandmates as
Spy Satellite, through a night of passionate, strange abstraction across continents and cultures. For those that never caught them, John Dierker Quartet were one of the heights of Baltimore free jazz in the 90's, with an inspiring mix of sincerity, passion, technique, and original musical/emotional content.
