At 53, John Berndt has been a Baltimore musician, visual artist and writer whose primary subject matter can be summed up as “disorientation as positive content”—a domain he approaches with nonstandard sensibilities and through a wide range of different vehicles and media. He is a longtime saxophonist, free improvisor and electronic composer; and also as organizer he was the founder of High Zero Foundation and the Red Room.
dj sniff (Takuro Mizuta Lippit) is a musician and curator in the field of experimental electronic arts and improvised music. His musical work builds upon a distinct practice that combines DJing, instrument design, and free improvisation. His collaborations include Evan Parker, Otomo Yoshihide, Martin Tetreault, Paul Hubweber, Tarek Atoui, and Senyawa. Now based in Tokyo.
