A Sunday of interdisciplinary delights awaits us at THE RED ROOM

Ada Pinkston is a “trans-media artist, organizer, educator, sister, aunt, and daughter living and working in Baltimore, Maryland. Interactions with people are the pulse that drives the flow of her work. Her art explores the intersection of imagined histories and sociopolitical realities on our bodies using monoprint, performance, experimental video, and collage techniques. A graduate of Maryland Institute College of Art, her work has been featured in New York, Berlin, and San Francisco.”

A Maryland native now residing in Oslo, Benjamin Nelson’s work is “based on slowly shifting tones and textures intended to explore micro-changes that result from phasing and head position, hearing fatigue, and stream separation. Although highly reductive, the slow moving sheets of sound form a sort of immersive environment or sound object within the performance space.”
