The Red Room presents a night of abstract electroacoustic music featuring Andrew Bernstein, Good Willsmith and Lockbox.
Andrew Bernstein is a Baltimore based musician and multimedia artist. His music explores the nature of acoustics, rhythm and the perception of time. He plays saxophone and percussion in the experimental rock band Horse Lords and has composed scores for productions by the Annex Theatre, Effervescent Collective, and the Baltimore Rock Opera Society.
Good Willsmith processes guitars, synths, found physical media, and voices through multi-track looping hardware and chains of electronics. The trio incorporates elements of ambient, drone, noise, kosmische, minimalist, metal and Indian classical musics into long-form structured improvisations that overflow with volume and texture. Doug, Max, and Natalie live in Chicago, IL.
