Dave Ballou (trumpet) and Mike Kuhl (percussion), both strong improvisers from the Baltimore area. We’re rescheduling Vaster Than Empires, a trio of Erica Dicker (violin), Allen Otte (percussion), and Paul Schuette (electronics), for another date.
KUHL and BALLOU
Mike Kuhl (percussion) and Dave Ballou (trumpet) perform improvised music that transcend typical genre identifiers. Kuhl and Ballou have performed together in various ensembles but now are branching out to go beyond the traditions of their instruments into the world of spontaneous sound creation.
