LA polymath NOOR and local wiz kid MAX EILBACHER meet again in QUADRAPHONIC SOUND at THE RED ROOM!
Noor is a vocalist first and foremost, a commercial voice-over artist by trade and an accomplished actress and poet. Her performance will be a an exploration of a new work in progress. Past and present collaborators include Smegma, Tomoko Sauvage, Paul McCarthy, Mike Kelley, LAFMS, Graham Lambkin and many more.
The work of Max Eilbacher draws upon the European traditions of electroacoustic and musique concrète composition, the intuitive American free noise underground, and the abstract edges of processing-intensive computer sound. Recent records have been released by Spectrum Spools, Fogged Records, Anomia, NNA Tapes, and a series of self released cassettes. He has toured extensively through North America and Europe with collaborations and solo projects.
